Shouldn't there be a subforum for Community Building?

For discussions of user interface, open source software, technologies, widgets, etc? Or is this site basically focused on SEO and marketing for existing communities?

There certainly could be...
Discussions around the technical aspects of building a community could certainly warrant their own sub-forum. To be honest, I was trying to avoid having too many forums out of concern that until there is more activity, posts might languish without responses more easily if spread across a large number of topics. If you would like, I can go ahead and create the subforum and see how it goes...

I am trying to find a CTO or development consultants for my crowdgather project so it would help me quite a bit. In exchange I am glad to offer community management advice since I own a few forums- some that are pretty high traffic and large.
Sub-Forum Created
The sub-forum has been set up per your suggestion. If you have a couple of minutes it would be great if you could add an entry to the web directory for the crowdgather site and what you would like it to be. Additionally, if you wouldn't mind, it would be cool to have your forum sites in the directory too. Would be fun to see what you have going on. Do you know what kind of technology framework you want to use for crowdgather? That will drive a lot of your decisions in terms of who you are looking for. (At least for skillsets.)
